The Grand Budapest Hotel (2014)

Seven Psychopaths (2012)
If you are into black comedies, you should not miss Martin McDonagh’s 2012 release, Seven Psychopaths. This film mixes to a great extent both the American style of comedy and traditional British humor. The story revolves around a struggling writer played by Colin Farrell and the bad deals he strikes with some of Los Angeles’ worse criminals. Extravagant performances by Christopher Walken, Woody Harrelson, Sam Rockwell and Olga Kurylenko complete one of the best British-American co-productions of the last decade.
Inside Out (2015)
A comedy movie does not necessarily need a real-life distribution. Sometimes, the voices of famous actors and the creativity of a group of animators are enough to create an outstanding funny movie. It is the case of Inside Out, a 2015 animation feature from the great Pixar division of Disney. The same people that produced Toy Story (1995), The Incredibles (2004) and Brave (2012) managed to deliver again regarding excitement, adventure, and comedy with yet another Oscar-nominated film. Like most Pixar releases Inside Out is aimed at both adults and children with a heart-warming story that is set in the mind of a young girl.
Baby Driver (2017)
The two movie genres that bring the biggest audiences to the cinema are action and comedy. Now and then, a film is released that creates the perfect mix between these two categories, a feat that is not achievable by many. One of the recent cineastes to complete this career goal is Edgar Wright, whose latest movie Baby Driver is filling cinema theaters across the world as we speak.
